I have the same issue and the same model
Internet stopped working and says “You’re connected using a virtual network adapter.
says “You’re connected using a virtual network adapter that we can’t test”. I’m not using a virtual network adapter though

2024-01-06T02:43:26+00:00 This happened again. This time I did NOTHING OTHER THAN shut down and then start, and it worked. So, at least in my case, I'm not sure anything else was ever required. But to be clear: MERELY pressing restart didn't lead to a solution; I shut down, waited probably less than a minute, and started up.

2024-01-09T20:31:47+00:00 Replying for the benefit of anyone like me who had the exact same thing happen to my son's ASUS Vivobook Pro with the same version of Windows. I hooked it up to the router with an ethernet cable and a USB-ethernet adapter I had in my box of oddities, and downloading/installing the pending Windows updates appears to have fixed it. Wi-Fi is back up and running when before there was nothing.

2024-01-11T18:14:59+00:00 My solution was to type 'recovery' in search box, click on 'recovery', then 'Open system restore' and go back in time.
Cheers,
