says “You’re connected using a virtual network adapter that we can’t test”. I’m not using a virtual network adapter though

Plugging into a wired network connection with a USB to network adapter and restarting reestablished internet connectivity. Running Windows Update and installing the 2023-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031455) did not resolve the issue. It appears that the wireless network adapter is gone.
After trying many of the suggestions here, including a network reset, I found an optional Lenovo firmware update under the Windows optional updates. After the firmware update, wifi is restored.

Specify the exact model of your computer or type msinfo in the search box and publish the System specifications.
Go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, post a screenshot, also attach a screenshot of the Network Connections.
I am also having a problem with this situation. I am using the HP Envy x360 Convertible, however, I have tried all the suggestions I can see here, I have gotten the newest drivers, I have reset the connection, I have rebooted the PC, I have trouble shot the windows update. None of these are working and still that same virtual device that it cannot test. Are there any other suggestions please?
