I tried all the things up to this point in the messages (and beyond, using other sites/videos). Nothing worked until and did a shutdown instead of a restart, but I don't know which of those things worked in conjunction with the shutdown.
Internet stopped working and says “You’re connected using a virtual network adapter.
says “You’re connected using a virtual network adapter that we can’t test”. I’m not using a virtual network adapter though

I am also having the same problem with my ASUS laptop that's running on Windows 11 very 22H2, I have tried restarting the laptop, resetting the network and shutting down the computer before opening it qgain, yet the tile for the internet will not reappear.

2023-11-19T23:35:36+00:00 For me, the solution was simply to *shut down* instead of restart. I don't know which of these changes did the trick because I tried every one I found both here and elsewhere over a period of many hours. I'd restart after every attempt. On a whim I tried shutting down, waiting a few minutes, then starting up again. Magic, problem solved! I'm using an HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 15-er1xxx.
