Turn off tablet mode on windows 11

Hi guys, I simply need to turn off the Tablet mode. I have found that Windows has removed that setting in the switch to Windows 11.. Ok I nice when things are intuative and so... but I simply need a way to switch it off. So many times it happens that I slightly shake with the laptop and it starts crazily switching between tablet and normal mode... So I can not use the laptop for some time, the keybord keeps disconecting, icons are disappearion, douchpad disabeling... I spend so much time uselesly moving my screen up and down... people around must be thinking that I am an idiot trying to make a fan from my laptop in this heat... Somewhere I found that I can switch off rotation lock... but guess what.. it is disabled and grey in my settings... when I ask for help, the laptop shows me an easy way to switch the tablet mode in the action centre... great job windows... only that the help shows settings for Windows 10.. I have 11.... Any other idea to solve this problem then buying a MAC??

    This worked for me on a HP Pavilion 2 in 1, seems to disable the laptop switching into tablet mode when you turn it sideways or twist the screen back.

    Go to Computer Management, Device Manager, and under System Devices, right click Intel Integrated Sensor Solution and click Disable.

    If you're hoping to sometimes use it as a tablet only this may not be a great solution, but it works for my case where i hardly ever want the keyboard/touchpad disabled or portrait mode. It should be way easier to disable the keyboard with a separate software than trying to stop the automatic tablet mode from doing its thing when you don't want it to.

    However the backlighting doesn't work when you log back into the computer after hibernation, so I have added a batch file to run using Task Scheduler on logon to enable the device then disable it.

    To List devices using command prompt (then use Find to find the right device)

    pnputil /enum-devices

    To disable device:

    pnputil /disable-device "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A0FC&SUBSYS_88BC103C&REV_20\3&11583659&2&90"

    To enable device:

    pnputil /enable-device "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A0FC&SUBSYS_88BC103C&REV_20\3&11583659&2&90"

    Note this is my device instance id in the quotes, you would have to enter your own.

    No I'm afraid not.

    My expectation is that Microsoft will not prioritise fixing broken functionality over pushing new features.

    I suppose the business model for desktop involves dangling new baubles at every release. Most make it no better, and sometimes worse, from a functional standpoint.

    Is there really no way to turn off tablet mode? Windows 11 is mangling WinForms applications that were never designed for fullscreen use. Coming at it the other way, I would like to turn tablet mode on in a virtual machine (for development), but I do not see how this is possible either.

    ConvertibleSlateMode in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl

    reportedly worked before, but not now.

    I sometimes use a tablet remotely when I need an actual Windows machine but not in front of me. I hope I don't have to change that.

    ok... an update here... Unfortunatelly after 2 weeks the same issue started occuring again... Although the option is switched off... Sometimes I need to lower my screen so low that I can not longer see... just type it blindly and then open again to be able to see what I wrote.... :( :( :( :( :(
