Can't un-combine taskbar items in Windows 11 after latest update

My system just did the lastest windows 11 update and all my tasbar items have been combined. When I go into taskbar behaviours to uncheck the option, the option does not exist? I tried searching settings and nothing appears. What can I do?

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Windows update

I'd revert back to Windows 10 and skip Windows 11 entirely, unless you're willing to wait years for fixes.

Windows 11 is a badly executed experiment designed for a market that never took off.

It's effectively an OS designed for tablets with a desktop overlay added as an afterthought.

Power users and desktop productivity went out the window in favour of oversimplicity.

I've been using ExplorerPatcher for quite some time to make win11 less ****, but ****'s File Explorer keeps crashing when I use ExplorerPatcher to make the taskbar win10-style, so I was kinda forced to make my taskbar the default win11 style.
I am amazed that **** is bragging about this "new feature" they're adding to Windows 11 which was already in Windows 10...

    what an incompetence...

Absolutely absurd that the Never Combine was removed. Makes me want to go with Mac. Who is responsible for QA? This is an incredibly frustrating experience to function and multi-task efficiently. Microsoft made a BAD mistake. Fix it ASAP please!

This is absolutely infuriating! Not being able to ungroup icons on the taskbar is going backwards, not forwards. There is still no option to ungroup in settings. Wish I could revert back to Windows 10. Why do Microsoft do this? Is it a windup?

Please expedite it!!! I am going mad wasting minutes every hour with the wasted mouse hovering and extra clicks now required to get to the window I need to reference for my work in another window. Even 3 or 4 monitors would not help me as the nature of my work requires multiple Word documents and PDFs open at once, as well as several Outlook items....
