My system just did the lastest windows 11 update and all my tasbar items have been combined. When I go into taskbar behaviours to uncheck the option, the option does not exist? I tried searching settings and nothing appears. What can I do?

Why was combined the default? I hate hovering over expanding groups with little thumbnails. It is like they are trying to cater to idiots. They keep updating away everything that makes Microsoft worth using.

This shows how Microsoft has been arrogant and not been listening to their customers by taking away one of the most commonly used features (uncombine taskbars) for years! No wonder we hate Windows 11 as it's counter productive! This also shows how incapable the current Microsoft employees are. Stop throwing the new resource-intensive shells to us. Make windows 11 to be useful again by not wasting our time by clicking a simple task twice.

Check this history of Windows and see the patten yourself:

    Windows 3.2 OK product

    Windows 95 Success

    Windows 98 Success

    Windows ME Failure

    Windows 2000 Success

    Windows XP Success

    Windows Vista Failure

    Windows 7 Success

    Windows 8 Failure

    Windows 10 Success

    Windows 11 Failure

Are they doing this to keep their jobs? It's just pathetic.

It is remarkable how Microsoft fails to deliver the most simple and obvious features and continually tries to impose the customers behaviors they deem relevant.

I'd like to remind them of the concept "Focus on value" and reinforce 'value' as the perceived usefulness BY THE CUSTOMER and not some ilusive leads that know little to nothing about using a computer on daily basis to work. No, emailing and chatting and creating presentations is the least example of using your computer to work every day
