Hi, I need the exact opposite help. I can combine my taskbar icons but after a while it will uncombine/group them automatically. Why? I turn it on and it automatically turns off
Can't un-combine taskbar items in Windows 11 after latest update
My system just did the lastest windows 11 update and all my tasbar items have been combined. When I go into taskbar behaviours to uncheck the option, the option does not exist? I tried searching settings and nothing appears. What can I do?

2024-11-05T01:50:01+00:00 The version on my laptop is 23H2. I was able to set the "Never" merge taskbar button and hide the label. However, after I reboot the computer or just hibernate it, it automatically sets to "Always merge" again!
This makes me afraid to upgrade my desktop to Windows 11.

2024-11-04T14:45:13+00:00 You have to have version 23H2 to get this option. If you're running a version less than this, the option isn't available at present.
To check your version, go start > settings > system > about and check here - "windows specifications"
I have version 22H2 for example and don't have to ability to un-combine the taskbar items yet.
