Starfield error code 0xc000001d

Everytime I launch Starfield I get the error code 0xc00001d. Is there anyway to fix this? I've already reinstalled the game and don't know what to do know. Please help!

    You said you have an Intel i9 cpu earlier. I believe all i9 models have AVX, but the early i9 may only support one of the three AVX versions.

    An AVX option will not be available in all motherboard BIOS. I have an MSI Z690 motherboard with Intel i5 12600K and it runs AVX by default.

    If the game requires a newer version of AVX than your cpu is capable of you won't be able to run it. I expect a lot of people will be seeking

    refunds if the games requirements are so limited that cpu's released in 2017 are made incompatible based on this one Instruction set.

    • You also mentioned having 12GB system RAM. The minimum requirement is 16GB.

    You can verify if your cpu has AVX, and which of the three versions, in - CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID

    Nope. Didn't work.

    repeat of error:

    Error code: (0xc0000096)

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.80 GHz

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

    Driver version: 537.13

    32 GIG Ram

    DirectX 12

    -- I'm good on system requirements.. .right?? I mean.. looks good to me.

    This thread was about error code 0xc000001d - so no the solutions won't work for you, and posting about a different error just confuses things.

    Umm., yeah, i know.

    Unistalled reinstalled like 4-5 times now and keep getting different error codes. Jumped into this thread when I was getting the 0001d error. Now, after 4th attempt cycled back to the 0096 error:

    Latest.. Uninstalled/reinstalled for the 3rd time.. Each time a different error code:
    1- 0xc0000096
    2-0xC0000005
    3-0xc000001d

    4-0xc0000096

    Gotta all be related

    Hi everyone!

    I fixed this issue by going to the BIOS and enabling the AVX feature. It seems that my AVX feature was disable by default. Why don't you try this?
