Simple fix. Hit shift-ctrl-e and the expand will show up at the bottom of windows.
How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?
In the "File Explorer", "Expand to Open Folder" option is not working. This happend after updating "2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)". How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?

2024-09-25T14:15:36+00:00 Are you sure it works? From my experience it works in some folders like C:\Program Files\ or C:\Windows\ but does not work for:
- folders on your desktop
- folders inside Downloads, Documents, Music and Videos

A working function in Windows destroyed by a new version. Reported Q3/2023 and no fix until Q3/2024.
This is used by a lot of users around the world and nothing happens. The world is shaking head about what is ongoing in Microsoft.

Dell Win 11 latest update expanded folders still does not work...
