How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?
In the "File Explorer", "Expand to Open Folder" option is not working. This happend after updating "2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)". How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?

2023-10-17T16:30:05+00:00 Wanted to emphasize this right here "C:\users<username>". This is the same for me any folders under C:\users<username> will not auto expand anymore.
The only work around I have found is to enable "show all folders" and the the auto expand works fine but the left pane is so cluttered at that point that I'd rather not have the functionality at all.

2023-10-12T09:47:55+00:00 Pre-update, when I clicked on a pinned folder, the master folder (i.e., the pinned folder) would expand in the details pane(?). It would also expand to show all subfolders in the bottom section of the navigation pane. I suspect this is what this thread is about. Whether it is or not, this is annoying. The right-click option to expand to current folder only shows up when I right-click in the bottom of the navigation pane.
At any rate, this should be a trivial fix in the next release. I just hope the developers get the task added to the fix list.
I just noticed that the poster name now gets numbered in entries. Weird.
