I installed KB5030310 update and Copilot is not showing

I have installed the update that became available today called "2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)" and this did not give me the Microsoft Copilot function. Nothing happens when pressing WIN-C and I can't find settings for this function anywhere.

So what I did is join the Windows Insider Program (Dev channel) and got the latest update so I'm now running Windows 11 version 23H OS build 22631.2361 and I still don't see Windows Copilot function. Am I missing something?

    The Windows 11 insider program deactivates the copilot. You will have to uninstall the Windows 11 insider program to have copilot on your windows. To do that go to Windows Update>Update history>Uninstall updates. Here you can uninstall "Feature enablement for Beta Channel Preview Update".

    This should take you back to your original Windows 11 copilot.

    Interesting, I am in England and installed KB5030310 2 days ago and I have Copilot.

    On the downside if I close MS Edge it can't be opened again until "End Task" is initiated through Task Manager. Then it will open, but fails again to open once it has been closed.

    Anybody any ideas on how to fix it?

    Update: The problem appears to have resolved itself and MS Edge now opens and closes normally even when Copilot is used.

    Further Update: The problem has reappeared. Many times neither Edge or Copilot will launch and I have to go into Task Manager and shut Edge down before it will launch. I have changed it to run with Administrator Privileges but the problem remains.

    Does anyone have any ideas on curing the problem?

    That's true for me also: one laptop has copilot, the other does not.

    Same for me - I have it only on one of three! On those two even nothing happens with win+run cmd - it just opens edge.
