I installed KB5030310 update and Copilot is not showing

I have installed the update that became available today called "2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)" and this did not give me the Microsoft Copilot function. Nothing happens when pressing WIN-C and I can't find settings for this function anywhere.

So what I did is join the Windows Insider Program (Dev channel) and got the latest update so I'm now running Windows 11 version 23H OS build 22631.2361 and I still don't see Windows Copilot function. Am I missing something?

    I am in the US and have the same problem(no KB5030310 features work) on 2 of my 6 Windows 11 desktops.

    My guess is this is happening because I noticed during the update that more then one update was installed

    simultaneously. Bottom line: I cannot make Pilot of any of the KB5030310 work even though it says it's installed.

    All of my Lenovo desktops are identical.

    On one that failed(1), these updates were installed at the same time as KB5030310:

    KB5031217

    KB4023057

    KB5030509

    KBB2667602

    On one other(2) that failed, these updates were installed at the same time as KB5030310:

    KB5031217

    KB5030219

    On one 4 that worked, only KB5030310 was installed

    I have the same problem, I'm in the US and after installing KB5030310 I don't see Copilot in my PC

    Hello Daniel, I installed the update on 9/26/2023, and I have the copilot on my taskbar. I can't imagine anybody wanting this trash, but I seem to be stuck with it (I can't delete it). I also noticed the quick access page has been changed, I hate it but I guess I'll get used to it (I can't change it). I also noticed the settings page has been changed, I hate that also, but I guess I'll get used to it (I can't change that either). It seems like Microsoft has run out of ideas to improve Windows so they make silly changes for the sake of changing things. Bravo Microsoft!! I almost forgot, right after the update my desktop background was changed and I had to change it back. I could go on about all the great changes, but you get the idea.

    i created a shortcut on desktop and pasted the command, and now I just click on that shortcut, but I cannot put it on taskbar, also couldn't find the real icon of Copilot (now it shows the edge icon)

    PS: if you open Windows Explorer and type in the address bar: ”shell:startup” and hit enter, then you can paste the shortcut from the desktop in this newly opened folder, and this way Copilot opens every time you open the laptop.
