    Thank you for replying, Ravi!

    Unfortunately, the method didn't work.

Though, it's not getting stuck, but now it's freezing after reaching 41%.

The application is experiencing crash and freeze.

There's one more fix for it.

    > Open Device Manager

    > Then expand, "Sound, video and game controllers"

    > Select the "Realtek(R) audio" and right-click then select "Update Driver"

    > In the dialog box, select the second option that says, "Browse my computer for drivers"

    > Then select, "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

    > There will be two options to choose. Select the, "High Definition Audio Device"

    > Click Next, after that click YES and it will ask you to restart your device to apply the new settings.

This will also fix the issue!

I have the same problem, on my son's computer. Has been like it for a few weeks now. Have tried un-installing an re-installing, using the task manager and the process manager, having a YouTube video running in the background, and all the other suggested fixes - nothing works.

    Thanks for trying.

Could you please try a few more things?

1). Update graphics drivers and install updates.

    2). Run Minecraft as administrator.

3). Try to finish the Minecraft launcher and reboot your PC.

-Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager

    -Click on the "Process" tab

-Search for minecraftlauncher.exe or javaw.exe, right-click on that and select "End task"

-Then reboot your computer and try to launch Minecraft again
