Windows 11 PC Sleep Mode Issue: Unresponsive Wake-Up and Fast-Spinning Fans

I am encountering a problem with my Windows 11 PC where it fails to wake up from sleep mode. The only solution I've found to turn it back on is by manually switching off the power supply and then switching it back on. Additionally, I've noticed that as soon as I initiate sleep mode, my computer's fans start spinning at a high speed. This issue began occurring randomly, and I have not made any recent updates or changes to my system.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken So Far:

  1. Checked for Windows Updates: I ensured that my Windows 11 is up to date with the latest updates and patches.
  2. Driver Updates: I have also verified that all my device drivers are up to date.
  3. Power Settings: I reviewed and adjusted my power settings
  4. Enabled & Disabled Fast Startup and Hibernate

    Same issue here.

    AsRock Z790 PRO RS
    BIOS version 15.01

    Intel i7 12700K (No OC)

    32 GB DDR5

    It wakes sometimes, but most of time just freezing.

    Same issue on Aorus B550 V2 AX (same as the OP) + RTX 3080.

    Fans don't speed up though. But random issues with waking from sleep when the lights stay up, but the computer stays completely unresponsive - even to RESET / POWER ON button on the case.

    The same thing happens to me pretty regularly, especially when It is asleep for a long time. My 8bitdo ultimate controller dock that is connected to my PC via usb will blink on and off rapidly and my mobo light does the same thing. Does this happen to anyone else?

    Same issue with laptop not waking from sleep mode. I have to hold the power button to shut off, and then hold it in again to switch on. Of course this means my work doesn't get saved since the system didn't shut down properly. It's also such a waste of time!
