Windows 11 PC Sleep Mode Issue: Unresponsive Wake-Up and Fast-Spinning Fans

I am encountering a problem with my Windows 11 PC where it fails to wake up from sleep mode. The only solution I've found to turn it back on is by manually switching off the power supply and then switching it back on. Additionally, I've noticed that as soon as I initiate sleep mode, my computer's fans start spinning at a high speed. This issue began occurring randomly, and I have not made any recent updates or changes to my system.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken So Far:

  1. Checked for Windows Updates: I ensured that my Windows 11 is up to date with the latest updates and patches.
  2. Driver Updates: I have also verified that all my device drivers are up to date.
  3. Power Settings: I reviewed and adjusted my power settings
  4. Enabled & Disabled Fast Startup and Hibernate

    I had this same issue with Windows 11 and dang its aggravating. I may have found a solution though so try it for yourself and see if it works for you. I have simply changed the power options so that it never goes to sleep while plugged in and if I close the lid or push the power button or if its on battery, I use hibernate. So when I am done with my work, I simply hit the power button, and it hibernates (then you can close the lid0. It never loses my spot and it comes back on every time.

    I have the same problem on my omen, i came from using a mac so never knew this was a widespread problem. I updated he bios last night as well even turned off sleep mode is there a way i can downgrade to 10 for free?

    Same issue on Aorus B550 V2 AX (same as the OP) + RTX 3080.

    Fans don't speed up though. But random issues with waking from sleep when the lights stay up, but the computer stays completely unresponsive - even to RESET / POWER ON button on the case.

    32 GB DDR5

    It wakes sometimes, but most of time just freezing.

    Same issue here. I've updated the Bios, updated Windows 11, updated all programs, updated all drivers. STILL stuck in sleep mode, hard restart every time. For the love, is this a setting, Windows issue, or a hardware issue I'm not aware of...?
