Failed Install 2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)

Why does Windows update 2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310) fail to install when it's not for my co-workers? All other updates are downloaded and installed with no problem. I believe this is the Pre-CoPilot update that I have been waiting for. Install error Install error - 0x80070002.

    hello i tried running command prompt and ran into errors

    I also have an issue with this update that I input on a different page with not much of a response. Why since installing

    I am have all kinds of problems finding my /NETWORK drive. One day its there the next day its not. I have moved the network storage device to different ethernet locations including plugged directly into the router with no success. Then 10 minutes to 10 hours later it shows up under File Explorer only to disappear again. I have had no problems with this until KB5030310.

    I'm on Release Preview channel.

    DISM & SFC run without any errors. Windows Update Troubleshooter "repairs" something on every run, but it has no effect.

    Can't install this update because of the 0x800f081f error.

    No idea what can it be and what to do.

    Hello David

    I'm also having immense issue with this update, I've got to the dism stuff and when i try to restore health it gives me this error message:

    Error: 0x800f081f The source files could not be found. Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077. The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

    I don't think the lack of the update is effecting my pc overall but it's certainly making me worry about any future driver updates.
