RESOLVED: Explorer crashing on right click

Explorer.exe keeps crashing when I right click in a window or on the desktop. This seemed to start happening randomly and not after a Windows update or anything in particular.
I have tried the following:
-Disabled antivirus

-Disabled context menu's using ShellExView

-Booting into safemode
-Updating Windows
-Reinstalling the graphics driver

-sfcscan

-DISM repair
-Clear file explorer history
-Disable credential Guard in regedit
The same problem continues to happen, even in safemode.

Eventviewer displays the following when explorer crashes due to a right click:

I'm stumped and don't know what else I can do. Any suggestions?

Hello again,

I just fixed the issue without the need to run a repair.

I used the following command to disable the new context menu.
reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

The problem is now resolved.

    Have you installed any software that adds an option to the context menu.

    Uninstall that and if all good either install an alternative or re-install without the add to context menu, which I had to do with File Renamer Turbo.

    If you have added more than one software program that adds to the context menu remove all and add one at a time until offending one is found.

    Hope you get sorted.

    Hi !

    Yes I think I tried everything, but reinstall the OS. I am currently working on PhD and can't make fresh install.

    I must say this is really weird.

    Everything is up to date.

    Your problem is obviously caused by something different then. Have you tried all the usual stuff? SFC scan, DISM cleanup etc?

    I have the problem here with Windwos 11 23H2 up to date

    The new registry entry does NOT make any change.
