RESOLVED: Explorer crashing on right click

Explorer.exe keeps crashing when I right click in a window or on the desktop. This seemed to start happening randomly and not after a Windows update or anything in particular.
I have tried the following:
-Disabled antivirus

-Disabled context menu's using ShellExView

-Booting into safemode
-Updating Windows
-Reinstalling the graphics driver

-sfcscan

-DISM repair
-Clear file explorer history
-Disable credential Guard in regedit
The same problem continues to happen, even in safemode.

Eventviewer displays the following when explorer crashes due to a right click:

I'm stumped and don't know what else I can do. Any suggestions?

Hello again,

I just fixed the issue without the need to run a repair.

I used the following command to disable the new context menu.
reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

The problem is now resolved.

    How did you successfully uninstall that damn package? It is not listed in the window where one can deinstall updates and command line WUSA does not work either. But it is installed as I can see it in the generally update history. One bug that leads to dozens other one. This bug has me chasing since weeks. I did several system restore because of this issue. Can't tell how fed up I am with Windows 11..

    That doesn't sound like the same issue as I had. Mine was specifically caused by the new context menu causing Explorer to crash when I attempted to view that context menu (right click).

    I've since learnt that the update that caused the problem for me was KB5031217. You can try to remove that and see if it helps you but as I said, it sounds like your problem is different.

    Thanks for your reply. I was hoping to avoid something like this. But I'll give it a go.
    I'll take a backup tonight and give it a try tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
