I had the same problem. In the messaging app, go to Spam & blocked and clean the messages. At least that was the problem with me. But I agree, the app does handle well all situations.
How delete messages that appear in Phone Link but are not on my phone?
I have reenabled phone link after not using it for many months. I now have two text messages in phone link that do not exist on my phone. How do I delete them? Thanks.

I, along with MANY others beg to differ with that claim. This should have been corrected ages ago...

2024-04-16T16:55:24+00:00 Not just spam. I get messages from family and friends on both Google Messages and Samsung Messages. I have to set Samsung as default and delete them eventhough I already deleted on Google Messages, then reselect Google Messages as my default.
