Installation Failure for 2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031356) 0x8007000D

Hi, I am unable to install latest Windows 10 22H2 Cumulative Update, with the error 0x8007000D. I have tried downloading the KB from Microsoft Update Catalog and run manually but I am getting this error as well. Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone have a solution for this?

    If you have a lot of downloads or photos I would recommend moving them to an external drive if the temporary files aren't enough to fix it.

    My desktop is not compatible with win 11, no TPM 2.0 and processor and graphics are not compatible. Not computer savey and it looks too complicated for me to try to beat the system. My win 10 desktop works great or at least it did until the kb5031356 update. Install failed but my taskbar was wiped out until I rebooted. Ran the Dism and the scandsk and the winupdate troubleshooter and they found no problems, yet, the kb5031356 failed install 4 times. Yet two other win updated worked.

    You can install Win11, only have to do alittle workaround. dont worry, microsoft itself has also made a tutorial for installing win11 on unsupported hardware but their version sucks.

    Thanks for the reply. Perhaps the update is not compatible with our win 10 22H2 computers. Still don't understand why the other update that day and another update two days later worked but not this update. I also stopped auto updates now for the 2nd week hopefully so that microsoft will have a fix or an updated kb5031356 that works soon.

    Who knows. I stopped automatic updates until they fix it. I have Windows 11 on my laptop, I believe the issue is solely with 10 so HOPEFULLY it won't be the same issue otherwise my boss might give me the boot lol. I work from home and my PC is my main work station.
