Installation Failure for 2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031356) 0x8007000D

Hi, I am unable to install latest Windows 10 22H2 Cumulative Update, with the error 0x8007000D. I have tried downloading the KB from Microsoft Update Catalog and run manually but I am getting this error as well. Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone have a solution for this?

    Also having the same issue.

    ren %systemroot%\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.bak

    Said access was denied.

    When I try to install the update, laptop runs an attempt of repair.

    Hey, I am having the same problem with this latest patch tuesday update. (windows 10 version 22h2 for x64-based systems (kb5032189) Tried every single method from online but nothing working. Relaxed to know i am not alone facing this problem.

    I'm not sure what have I done and it's worked beacuse I tried so many things but that might be worked that move another location the "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" files and clean temporary files via "Settings - System - Storage" and restart pc and try again. Hope that helps someone else.

    the net updates both downloaded and installed just fine but not KB5032189, i'm going to try the in place upgrade as others have managed to repair and update both these updates. i think i will do this tomorrow and i will keep you posted how it goes
