Windows 23h2 update not appearing?

Hi,

I have discovered that windows 11 23h2 has availability for everyone now. But, when I checked windows update (I have had for a while the "Get updates as soon as they are available" turned on) and when to optional updates it is not available! I checked on the microsoft site and it said I was at the correct version to see the update, and I double checked. Do you know any ways to make it appear or do I just have to wait?

    Ok so the option is doing the exact opposite of what is supposed to do? Turning this off effectively gets the latest updates??? This is quite confusing but will definitely give this a try. Far far better than reformatting just to get 23H2.

    Hi, 23H2 installed on my main PC but is not showing up on my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga which I purchased this summer. Both systems are compatible with Windows 11 and run fairly the same applications. I don't want to reinstall Windows with a USB medium just to get this update but would like all my systems to be on the same page with 23H2. It is a super annoying idea to block updates like that. Instead, the update should be proposed with at worst a warning explaining that it has issues and which issues. If this is caused by a piece of software or driver, maybe that can be uninstalled or updated, fixing the problem, but without any knowledge of why 23H2 is not offered for some systems but others, nothing can be done. If you think this is Lenovo that purposedfully blocks updates to push users in purchasing new laptops all the times, let me know and I will keep that in mind for my next laptop, moving back to Dell probably.

    This may sound strange, but turn off the get updates as soon as possible option. The update should show up in the next few minutes.

    This worked on both of my Windows 11 desktops.

    Thanks Mate, this actually is the best solution. Not sure why it works but two of my pcs would not find the update until I did this...

    Turned off "Get the latest updates as sonn as they're available" and made a new update search!

    Maybe one's part of the average Joe's roll out if the automatic update is activated, but by deactivating
    it, and running it manually, it pics up whatever update that's available?
