New Windows 11 file explorer can't drag and drop in address bar

Hi,

I'm really upset of the new address bar because I can't drag and drop anymore files to parent folder like in old file explorer address bar

Can you fix the problem in a close future update or tell me how to change this back to old version (exist in windows 11 file explorer)

The new address bar is above the tools bar (New - Cut - Copy - etc), the old one is bellow

    Completely agree. I cant fathom the reason for this. I hope MS has plans to undo this in the future.

    My partner and I have been really confused and SUPER ANNOYED at this feature disappearing. BRING IT BACK!!!! I don't understand why you would handicap your own program by removing a functionality that saves users time and improves our experience?!

    Can anyone from microsoft confirm if this thread and the 400 odd people here are being noticed? It's actually one of the worst changes you've ever made please revert it.

    If you go a couple of pages back in the thread, Microsoft has already fixed it - it is being tested in Insider Builds. Estimated arrival, in fall.
