New Windows 11 file explorer can't drag and drop in address bar

Hi,

I'm really upset of the new address bar because I can't drag and drop anymore files to parent folder like in old file explorer address bar

Can you fix the problem in a close future update or tell me how to change this back to old version (exist in windows 11 file explorer)

The new address bar is above the tools bar (New - Cut - Copy - etc), the old one is bellow

    My partner and I have been really confused and SUPER ANNOYED at this feature disappearing. BRING IT BACK!!!! I don't understand why you would handicap your own program by removing a functionality that saves users time and improves our experience?!

    Completely agree. I cant fathom the reason for this. I hope MS has plans to undo this in the future.

    WOWWW, just tried WinHawk and the explorer mod.

    Genius.

    Now i have a much betterer UX. Shame on you microsoft!

    This was one of the most used feature of win10 explorer (at least for me).

    Removing this basic feature it's not only a step back, but a pretty bad move

    for windows11 acceptance. I spent few hours trying to understand why this

    was not working, imagining some bug or problem on my machine, just to

    realize that the feature was not present anymore.

    I can't believe it.

    I hope UI will be taken in much more consideration in future, because

    my feel is that microsoft UX experts are not doing their job properly.
