Hi,

I'm really upset of the new address bar because I can't drag and drop anymore files to parent folder like in old file explorer address bar

Can you fix the problem in a close future update or tell me how to change this back to old version (exist in windows 11 file explorer)

The new address bar is above the tools bar (New - Cut - Copy - etc), the old one is bellow

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Files, folders, and storage

Is there any functional reason why this feature is removed?

This requires opening two tabs or two file explorers, setting the folders correct and moving. Even less ideal when you have to do it a lot of times.

Wouldn't it be easier to use Cut and Paste to move the files, rather than an intermediate folder or moving a folder to the desktop?

Oh Microsoft... Your users might need to relocate large amounts of files from time to time.

Carrying 1000+ files over to desktop is impossible, so instead of a simple drag and drop, I now have to the following for my workflow:

New folder serving as placeholder for my 1000+ files. Then I move it to my desktop.

Navitgate to the required folder. Open my placeholder, and then drop to the required folder.

Deadlines can be very tight, and a simple drag and drop would be appreciated, and not by me alone.
