Hello I am trying to open Local Security Policy but keep get this error.

Hello.

I am using windows 11 pro and every time i try and open Local Security Policy I getting an error and I need to access it like now.

The error I keeping getting is this

An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist.

Please assist me if you.

Great, thanks for the update. The leftover AppLocker configuration file C:\Windows\System32\AppLocker\Script.AppLocker was causing all the trouble.

Download AdvancedRun from Nirsoft.

Launch cmd.exe as TrustedInstaller. This opens a Command Prompt window with highest privileges.

(See also: How to Run Programs as TrustedInstaller)

From that Command Prompt window, run services.msc

See if you can stop or disable the service you want to stop/disable.

    I've added two links that can help you reset AppLocker completely. Hope that information will resolve the issue.

    That won't stop you from using AppLocker in the future.

    Please try this.

    Open services.msc

    Double-click "Application Identity"

    Set it to "Disabled"

    Reboot Windows.

    * * *

    Service description: Determines and verifies the identity of an application. Disabling this service will prevent AppLocker from being enforced.

    * * *
