Yes, lower memory usage is preferred to reduce the mount of writing to the drive.
High virtual memory usage after reinstall

My system is Ideapad Gaming 3 16IAH7 with 16 GB RAM.
After a clean reinstall, my virtual memory usage has been higher by at least 10-20% despite not only having the same amount of processes but even a little fewer. The reason for my clean reinstall was due to the poor and inconsistent performance, something which seems to be no longer the case. I wish to know if the reason for higher virtual memory usage is the cost of performance being better now.

2023-10-26T08:05:23+00:00 Yep, I've recently tried out different graphic drivers which has lowered the virtual memory usage starting from 47 and rising up to 52% so still higher than it used to be.

2023-10-26T10:58:01+00:00 Ram usage itself is not an issue thanks to memreduct, it's the virtual memory that I am most concerned by, since it used to be much lower again at the same exact number of processes happening at the same time as of now. Even if it is not an problematic it still feels like my system is not running at it most optimal as it could be.

2023-10-26T11:07:24+00:00 The only way to change the amount of Virtual memory used is to manually set the amount, but that does cause problems in Windows and it is not advised to do that.
