High virtual memory usage after reinstall

My system is Ideapad Gaming 3 16IAH7 with 16 GB RAM.

After a clean reinstall, my virtual memory usage has been higher by at least 10-20% despite not only having the same amount of processes but even a little fewer. The reason for my clean reinstall was due to the poor and inconsistent performance, something which seems to be no longer the case. I wish to know if the reason for higher virtual memory usage is the cost of performance being better now.

    Maybe, though it still feels bizarre, and besides lower memory usage is always better, especially with the same amount of processes.

    That is a bit odd, but nothing to worry about, I honestly do not see any problem with your memory configuration on your system

    Yes I know that yet for it to shrink back to how it was before I did the clean reinstall is just very odd.

    Windows dynamically controls your virtual memory usage depending on what you are doing on your PC, it is normal for that to grow and shrink over time, this is not an indication of a problem

    Okay now this is just getting bizarre, I ran a memory troubleshooter using my Lenovo vantage. After it was done the video memory usage went as low as 41% even with all the usual processes. But of course, after restarting it did not stay the same, returning to being 50-60%
