I had the other settings correct, but it was still coming up as an option. Go under Sign In Options. Scroll down to PIN. And click REMOVE THIS AS A SIGN-IN OPTION .

First of all - STOP "PROTECTING" US.
I do not want to have to enter a pin every single time I use my computer.
So please tell me how I remove this option COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY!
And for gods sake - treat people like adult and STOP trying to "hide" these options.
Its my computer, not yours!

2024-08-13T19:41:44+00:00 Upon further digging, it appears MS has changed Windows so this no longer works. It seems every time people figure out a way to get around the login, they change Windows to make it impossible.

2024-08-13T19:26:57+00:00 Thanks for the steps. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I was able to complete all the steps. However, when I rebooted, I got a screen with my user name and the following message: "We are unable to connect right now. Please check your network and try again later." There is an "OK" button below it.
When I click OK, I'm taken to the normal login screen, only now there are two separate logins, both with my same MS account.
Anyone know a fix for this (there's no issues with my network).
This is so annoying because I'm always at home with my computer and have zero need for a login with password/pin protection.

Why do Microsoft make such things so hard to do? Do they want to be hated? 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Now just need to figure how to get back to 'old' outlook. The version that actually works...
