Disappearance of Windows 11 Taskbar Icons after Switching Virtual Desktops

Windows 11 22H2
In Windows 11's built-in virtual desktop feature, there is a high probability that icons of active applications on the current desktop may not be displayed when switching between different virtual desktops. The icons only appear when I click on the respective application. I have attempted to resolve the issue through restarts and using Sfc and Dism for repairs, but the problem persists. An essential configuration to note is that the taskbar is set to display windows only from the current desktop.

I would just like to emphasize that it's the year 2025 and the problem is still here! Hey Microsoft, are all your "talented" engineers still there?

    Thank you :)

I have tried many of fixes but this one actually helped me.

1.) Open this link and download mpo_disable.reg.

    https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157/~/after-updating-to-nvidia-game-ready-driver-461.09-or-newer%2C-some-desktop-apps

2.) Click on register file and complete the write of new data ( You can also revert this by using mpo_restore.reg ).

3.) After the write is completed, restart your computer.

I am still testing it, but for few hours the missing icons are back.

Sadly, this has no effect for me :(

We have two days left until the end of the year, yet Microsoft has done nothing about this.

Over 13 months since this bug was created, our planet has moved a distance of approximately 643 million miles around the sun, yet Microsoft still haven't found a couple of hours to fix animation issues with virtual desktops.
