I'm getting BSOD with error nvlddmkm.sys

My computer has been working fine ever since purchasing it a couple of years ago. I recently installed the new update and since then my computer refuses to run games, and crashes to a blue screen with 'error nvlddmkm.sys'. before it goes to blue screen it will go into kind of pixels, sometimes green, sometimes white then restart the pc.

I've tried formatting my harddrives and SSD, I've tried everything YouTube videos say but it just doesn't seem to work. I'm worried that it's my GPU because I can't afford a new one. I currently have a 2080ti.

Any help fixing this would be appreciated whole heartedly.

    I have had this issue for five months, and it is frustrating. Here is what I did to solve it.
    In short, you may search each line to find out how to make it.

    The reason is the new graphic card driver, which you recently updated. It isn't supported by your motherboard. Unfortunately, NVIDIA doesn't check compatibility before installation.

    Download a tool called DDU. (Display Driver Uninstall)
    reboot on safe mode by using MSConfig.
    Use DDU to uninstall your graphic card driver.
    Your screen resolution will reset to the default minimum setting.
    Let Windows Update to find the proper driver for you. It takes one hour to download and install the new driver.
    Reboot the computer in Normal mode.

    They need to release an update to fix the corruption in the gpu no way our graphics cards died guys i mean mine works perfectly fine but when i start specific games it crashes then bsod i took my pc to get fixed and the dude told me the same thing he got laptops which had the same issue he just cleaned it all and he stress tested my gpu for 24 hours legit 0 errors it's gucci he said at this point underclock you gpu and It might get fixed that's the only way until they fix the driver i got my pc 10 months ago I'm just playing 2 games valo and league i run both of them 200 fps+ like how come i update it 3 weeks ago and it start crashing it just stupid

    Same thing happend with me took to a repair shop they said no problem with it stress tested it for 2 days worked fine brought it home worked for around 1-2 days then again bsod with artifacts (weird flashes) tried everything had this problem for about 9 months now I gave up I just use my integrated graphics it's really frustrating

    I've an ASUS M16, with i9-13 and rtx 4070. the same issue happens with me. i tried reinstalling windows. resetting the laptop. getting a new ssd. removing graphic drivers. even installed an older version but the same issue keeps on happening. the only way out i see is to completely disconnect the gpu either in device manager or bios and then stop windows from automatically trying to update the video drivers. that way, my laptop would basically run on intel uhd graphics, although making the money i spent on my 4070 worthless, i atleast can use it for my classes. but really, this issue is the worst thing ever. I can't even afford to get expert repair let alone a new device :/
