I'm getting BSOD with error nvlddmkm.sys

My computer has been working fine ever since purchasing it a couple of years ago. I recently installed the new update and since then my computer refuses to run games, and crashes to a blue screen with 'error nvlddmkm.sys'. before it goes to blue screen it will go into kind of pixels, sometimes green, sometimes white then restart the pc.

I've tried formatting my harddrives and SSD, I've tried everything YouTube videos say but it just doesn't seem to work. I'm worried that it's my GPU because I can't afford a new one. I currently have a 2080ti.

Any help fixing this would be appreciated whole heartedly.

    I have a 2060 and have been trying different solutions since February 19th and am still having problems with it too after trying a bunch of things.

    its very sus cz i faced this problem around 19-21 feb too!! maybe an update that screwed this up?

    I have two Dell XPS 17" laptop with Intel + NVIDIA. I kept getting all sorts of BSOD errors when my computer was sleeping. It would wake randomly with BSOD - averaging once every day. The Minidump file had errors that usually pointed back to different graphics drivers...mainly NVIDIA stuff. I finally talked with someone at Dell. My issue was that Windows Update was trying to wake the computer to run one of the major Half-year updates - but it was hooked to a docking station that interfered with that, so it crashed. Dell Customer support had me do 3 things:

    1.) Disconnect all external devices (docking station, printers, external hard drives, etc.).2.) Shutdown computer and leave shut off for 1 minute. 3.) Power back up, login, go to Windows Update. Once I got to Windows Update, there were old updates that were not getting queued up previously when I tried updating. Run those updates. Also run manufacturer updates (example - Dell Support online or software option). That has stopped both of my Dell XPS from having BSOD for 3 days now. I don't know if this will solve your problem, just sharing what finally worked for me.

    Going through the same thing all types of bsod errors think I have to get a new motherboard good wallet dent inbound
