How to fix Windows 11 saying i'm not connected to the internet but apps and browsers connect and work?

Windows 11 update is not working saying "We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet." (I checked and the windows update service is running), I tried the windows troubleshooter for network and internet and it says "Looks like you aren't connected to the internet." but all apps and browsers connect to internet fine. Today I tried a repair install of the new 23H2 update from the ISO and no luck with that, the troubleshooter and windows update still say no connection to internet. What now?

    Reason is Win 11

If you have more than 10 lines in an email or if you have not sent in the last hour Win 11 blames internet when actually poor win 11 design

So you need to redo again and send within the hour , redo on word and attach if more than 10 lines

That's how I have solved the poor internet design

Is anyone closer to finding an answer to resolving this? It is absolutely ridiculous. Have updated/checked firmware, rolled back firmware, googled and more, but still stuck with "not-connected" message, despite the fact that I can physically type and send this message!?

It seems that problem with Windows is not at all Microsoft concern ?

It is unthinkable that there is no solution for this kind of trouble !

I want to know why the hell Microsoft support hasn't resolved this problem when so many here are having this same issue? It existed for me in Windows 10 too.

It seems like a typical MS tactic; they put stuff on the market they haven't thoroughly tested for problems such as this.

Yet MS has added bells and whistles that I find annoying to productivity. Constantly reminding me of the MS store or responding with CoPilot when I do a Google search. And, making it difficult to download Google Play Store to my new laptop that came with Windows 11. Many of my former Google Play Store apps are not available in the MS Store for me to reinstall in my new laptop. All this doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy toward MS. It seems to me MS is pushing our non-MS choices out of the market.
