After Windows update, the HP Hotkey Support pop-up window appeared and the Fn button stopped working

This one is working from another site.

Make sure you download the sp91903.exe as per below.

Clearly they will still need to fix this, but this should sort you out

  1. Go to "Services"

  1. Find "HP Hotkey UWP Service
  2. Right click and choose "Properties"

  1. Change startup type to "Disabled"

  1. Restart computer

6.  Install Hotkey Support again from this link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp91501-92000/sp91903.exe

  1. Restart computer
  2. It Works

    Well, after trying for so long and different methods, this certainly worked for my HP EliteBook 830 G5. The issue arose after an update to Windows 11 from 10, and my brightness toggle keys wouldn't work. Followed the prompts and now it is back to default.
