  • Download defender_diag.bat. Right-click on the file, click Properties, Unblock, and OK. Run the batch file as administrator.

Those entries have no significance. Those entries show up in my system as well. You'll see a lot of Not Found entries for any operation you do. Usually, most of those entries have no significance.

You may try this if possible.

Download this REG file and save it to a folder named c:\reg\

Launch AdvancedRun (from Nirsoft) and start cmd.exe as TrustedInstaller.

In the TrustedInstaller Command Prompt, run:

  • reg.exe import c:\reg\securityhealth.reg
  • exit

This restores some essential registry keys used by Defender.

    This did it!!!!!!! Thank you so much

    So replacing the securityhealth folder 1.0.2207.20002-0 with the zip you provided (in WinRE mode)

    then rebooting, and I checked, with services.msc and the windows security service is running, and when going into windows security, it loads the different icons

    I hope Frank will also gets his one resolved, at least this one did it for me. Thanks again!

    Anything else I need to do, I guess I can now remove the old 1.0.2207.20002-0 ? Just to avoid I'm filling up my harddrive with old non working components.

    BR and have a good start in 2024.

    (Assuming you did the first two things -- i.e., extracting the zip file to C:\SecurityHealth. & backing up "C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealth\1.0.2207.20002-0" to another location.)

    To launch WinRE, click Start, Power, and then press and hold the Shift key while clicking Restart.

    In WinRE, click Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, and click Command Prompt.

    Run bcdedit and post the output here.

    Hi Frank,

    The instructions are for Robo4112. Please don't try that because you already have a newer platform folder. The zip archive is meant for Robo4112's system.
