  • Download defender_diag.bat. Right-click on the file, click Properties, Unblock, and OK. Run the batch file as administrator.

Those entries have no significance. Those entries show up in my system as well. You'll see a lot of Not Found entries for any operation you do. Usually, most of those entries have no significance.

You may try this if possible.

Download this REG file and save it to a folder named c:\reg\

Launch AdvancedRun (from Nirsoft) and start cmd.exe as TrustedInstaller.

In the TrustedInstaller Command Prompt, run:

  • reg.exe import c:\reg\securityhealth.reg
  • exit

This restores some essential registry keys used by Defender.

    Well that worked and a reinstall of Windows 11 23H2 is underway.

    That will take a while.

    I will let you know tomorrow if this fixed the Security Issue.

    uninstall the "Feature Update to 23H2 via Enablement Package (KB5027397)

    I will try this as oddly enough WU didn’t do this I had to get it from the Catalogue and run it manually.

    I can repro the issue by using AveYo's TPM bypass script. It does some things, and deleting appraiserres.dll is one of them. That could be causing the problem.

    Maybe you can subscribe to those threads or post your own. If you're lucky, the author might release a fix.

    Another option is to uninstall the "Feature Update to 23H2 via Enablement Package (KB5027397)" if that was installed earlier. This is to revert your version to 22H2 so you can run the setup from the 23H2 ISO.

    If you didn't install 23H2 using the enablement package, then this method won't apply to you.
