Just happened to me too. I keep this forum bookmarked so I can check in for updates every time it happens.
Restarting Windows Explorer works for me, but I only get a handful of copy/pastes completed before it stops working again.

For the last few months my Copy/Paste will stop working after I've been logged-on for awhile. If I log off and back on (no Restart, though), it will start working again... for awhile, that is. It was happening on Windows 10, so I went ahead and upgraded to Windows 11, hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn't.
I've looked through other postings, but most of them involve a Restart, which certainly works but so does a simple log off/log on. I generally don't log out at the end of the day, just lock it. Does anyone have a solution other than creating a whole new profile?

This happens consistently, all I have to do is let my machine lock and leave it running overnight. Every single time I log back in after this, copy/paste no longer works. It's been a year at least since this worked.
Try using the app Cafeinated on the MS store. It works for me most of the time.
I had the same problem, this worked for me.
I've placed keystrokes in square brackets to indicate the keyboard touches, and the 'WIN' key refers to the Windows Key on the keyboard. (e.g. [ctrl+alt+del])
