Microsoft has been applying updates to Windows 11 to address the issue. I was working with Microsoft Level 3 for 8 months gathering information on the problem.
Why Does Windows 10/11 Copy and Paste Stop Working After A While?
For the last few months my Copy/Paste will stop working after I've been logged-on for awhile. If I log off and back on (no Restart, though), it will start working again... for awhile, that is. It was happening on Windows 10, so I went ahead and upgraded to Windows 11, hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn't.
I've looked through other postings, but most of them involve a Restart, which certainly works but so does a simple log off/log on. I generally don't log out at the end of the day, just lock it. Does anyone have a solution other than creating a whole new profile?

2024-12-18T13:11:16+00:00 Just as quickly as it started, and carried over from Windows 10 to 11, it just as suddenly stopped. I no longer have to reboot every day and the copy/paste function works as intended. I'm not aware of anything I changed to "fix" it, either.

2024-12-18T11:17:46+00:00 Copy paste fails and it happens after some time working in Windows 11. Like a bad array loop finally stalling from poor coding or conflicts in else if. Very frustrating to see how poorly coded and yet MS seeks us to pay more for their broken strings. Please fix it soon or will dual boot OS's with Linux as primary so to get back to W10...
Just a thought from a coding stance:
An unknown character is being attempted and denying the paste
...could this at all be the reason?
