Why Does Windows 10/11 Copy and Paste Stop Working After A While?

For the last few months my Copy/Paste will stop working after I've been logged-on for awhile. If I log off and back on (no Restart, though), it will start working again... for awhile, that is. It was happening on Windows 10, so I went ahead and upgraded to Windows 11, hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn't.

I've looked through other postings, but most of them involve a Restart, which certainly works but so does a simple log off/log on. I generally don't log out at the end of the day, just lock it. Does anyone have a solution other than creating a whole new profile?

Actually so far so good, all works, even copy history fixed. Here is a screen shoot, I have turned off everything, including BitDefender, after restart Bitdefender turned it self back, but every ehing else stayed off. please take note I have selected to "hide all microsoft services" and then I press disablle all.

I have tried to turn it off only suspected stuff and leave like Google chrome etc. But it did not helped, only turning all off, helped, so not sure which :)

For a long time I'd just restart at the end of the day, then I just stopped doing it, waiting for the problem to reoccur. So far it hasn't.

Have you tried running Cafeinated in the background. I am still having issues but this has reduced the reboots to about once per week, if that. For me, also using an Intel 13th, its when I lock the computer or it sits idle for a while that this happens. I have all power savings turned off, no sleep, no hibernate, not even my monitor goes to sleep.

Don't know if this will help or not, but my issue stopped as quickly as it started. I can leave my system (Windows 11 on an HP Elite Desk) for days at a time and the issue has not returned.
