Windows Spotlight suddenly decided to use Thai language instead of my system setting (US English). How to fix this?

Same problem here. Sudden switch to Thai with an English US system and Korea region. However, voting "not a fan" fixed the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

Same problem, started yesterday

this must have been a bug in the last update. i have not been traveling around the world, and I don't have a VPN, but it still changes to various languages as if the description/info blurb language is based on where the picture was taken or the default language settings on the photographer's computer (?), ignoring my settings.

I did change back to the normal picture only lock screen until this gets sorted.

Also an issue for us for all our staff. Caused considerable concern about hacking issues before I located this thread.

Traveling a lot for work this as other have said certainly sparked a fear of malware/intrusion, really not cool Microsoft...

• No currently listed fix has worked except disabling Windows Spotlight...
