    Thanks, this worked for me...what a pain!! MS continues to have a mentality that the ONLY way to fix a flat tire is a new car!!

    Good news! Check for Windows Update! You should find Windows 11, version 23H2 (repaired version). Installing that will fix the search problem.

    Bro in the customize bar the one with the plus just click on type search right click the search icon click pin to sidebar
