How to fix Search bar not working after Windows 11 23H2 update

I found that the search didn't include the Local Disk C:/ drive, even though it has ALL the files that we are searching for! Here is the easy fix:

1. Type: windows button + R
2. Then, type "control panel"
3. In the top right search box, type "indexing options" and open it.
4. click the "modify" button
5. Make sure that Local Disk C:/ is included in the things that the search bar searches.
6. Then, it will start to scan everything in the Local Disk C:/, which takes some time. ****

This is the worst bug ever created and it is still not fixed, i am dumping my microsoft stock, continuous deployment is ok but NOT continuous deployment of bugs for god sake, please fix this as a security problem with same high urgency, you are loosing a lot of windows user expierence with this with as result the users...and killing the explorer each time is not an acceptable workaround....

I've checked all the suggestions to solve this problem, none worked.

The one which worked for me was simple reinstall of the Windows 11 23H2 while keeping programs and data.

this works fine. I suspect on of the updates installed don't use MSI properly and then issue aries. However, this install is not enough. I have to log in in Administrator account who solved the problem with Start critical error and Search function too. Then I loged in into my other account (user with admin priv) and now is everything smooth as it should be. My machine is Dell XPS 15 7590.
