This registry key fix worked for us. I was absolutely not going to edit partitions.
Is there a workaround for KB5034441 install failure that doesn't require partition modification?

We know about the failure of KB5034441, and the recent recommendations to modify a partition as a workaround. As an old school practitioner (since 3.1 came on floppies), and having crashed many a hard disk, modifying a partition seems rather extreme for an update workaround, unsafe, and IMHO highly NOT recommended. My questions are:
Is there another workaround or fix to KB5034441 not installing?
How important is this update seeing how update Tuesday is in just a few days?

UPDATE: Tuesday 2/27/2024
The issue was resolved by enabling the TPM is BIOS to allow the operating system to access the TPM. Nothing was done to modify partitions from the default install size. Currently I have a 50MB NTFS System partition, a 465GB Primary partition, and a 546MB Recovery partition.
Looking in the Update history, KB5034441 installed correctly. Kudos to 1proggy, below, for coming up with the answer for my system.

I inadvertently stumbled across a simple solution while trying to fix iCloud calendars and contacts not syncing with Outlook issue that I had ( for info 32-bit Outlook wont sync, 64-bit did sync): reinstall windows keeping apps and settings from the Microsoft website. I had to do this as there was no refresh option for some reason. Didn't take long, everything looked the same after I did it and the KB 5034441 failure to install issue vanished. This was a fix for me - hopefully it might work for others too. I hope I have recalled this correctly, but there is scope that I'm not totally correct in my recollection from yesterday.

2024-06-24T06:46:57+00:00 I had the same. I reinstalled windows 10 while addressing another issue and the problem went away without any requirement to adjust partition size etc. I doubt this is a recommended action, but it worked for me!

2024-06-24T10:16:05+00:00 Reinstall windows 10 is the only "Official" solution from Microsoft.
The script for repartition and expand the bios setting is embedded in the W10 updated download version.
Our complaint is...
Since the solution script is available why not make it available as a w10 update? Reinstall is a very time consuming manual labor intensive process. Therefore, unreasonable for anyone supporting more than 1 W10 PC. Actually, Since the solution script is written it is unreasonable for all users.
