Windows 11's Right Click Context Menu has got to go.

This is the most terrible, stupid, and annoying thing Microsoft has ever designed into a UI.

They've completely abandoned us power users here, and even normal users.

Get rid of that stupid 'Show more Options' button and give us everything relevant to the element we're right clicking at the start, or give us an option to toggle it off so everyone gets the best of both worlds.

Having to use third party tools to hack up the UI to bring back the Windows 10 context menu is an atrocious bandaid many have been applying to fix this.

What would be even more amazing, which baffles me isn't an easily accessable thing, is the option to EDIT your right click context menu, and to uninstall / disable things that some programs attach to it.

Come on Microsoft.. at this rate, Windows 12 will be the curse of the computing world.

    Sorry to say this but if you don't know that HKCU means HKey Current User, you should be nowhere near a registry.

    But why? Why phase out something as useful and elegant as the concept of one finger for selection, and the other for contextual options? Windows 10 prior to maybe version 1901 (or something around there, I forget which release) seems to have been the peak of windows UI design, in terms of UX being a priority. There are things I really enjoy about windows 11, but I only really started enjoying it after tearing out a lot of stuff with reg edits and/or winaero tweaker. It’s not that im hanging on to the old and unwilling to change - im not like that. I am not really tied to any OS or hardware manufacturer, and go between MacOS , Linux and windows all the time. I use what works for whatever im trying to accomplish , and embrace change.

    I have a feeling in many ways win 11 will be looked back on as another windows vista type of release. It seems they like to follow a popular release with a bad one. Think windows 8, as well. So im hopeful that 12 will be the new 10. Haha.
