So I tried a different mouse and that also started lagging on the computer. I have tried the following: Driver updates Windows 11 reinstall (with data save) Uninstalling mouse driver Updating Windows None of those worked. Any ideas would very much help! I'm having this problem too. There are no updated drivers on my computer, can't download updated drivers with Windows Update, either. When I go to Logitech's website, they want me to download Logitech Options. I do have that on my computer, and when I run that program, it won't update the program or drivers. I have had my computer for 2 years and 4 months, and it's been doing this for quite a while. I've tried 2 or 3 times to look for updates (hoping that after a while there will be an update, still none) and can never find any. Never had this happen on other computers I've had, just this one!

This has happened to me a couple of times in the last year with a Dell XPS8950, including today. What sometimes fixes it for me is to disable and then enable the Bluetooth Device under Network adapters in Device Manager. Have a wired mouse to hand, or you won't be able to 'enable.'

I've been fighting this for four or five days now. I tried everything: disabling all animations, wired and wireless mice, you name it, I tried it. Then I tested another mouse on a white background rather than my normal black mouse pad and the problem disappeared. I've used a black mouse pad for at least 20 years. How the heck does this just show up now? Anyway, try a lighter-colored mouse pad.

Why has Microsoft not fixed this yet? So many people have this issue. It's not a hardware issue, too many people have it. Fix it!

Yes, I have it. For me, If I plug my mouse in to the USB, that is not use wireless, I'm fine.
