Microsoft Sudoku not saving my daily challenge results

I have no issues with login. I got an update today (April 18) which at first appeared to save my status after I closed the app and re-opened it. The I tried playing the April 17 games AGAIN. I closed the app and re-opened it with the following results. Are there any job openings for dealing with these issues which have gone on for more than a month? Surely someone can do the job.

I had similar results with the 17th not saving. I had to complete them multiple times before the puzzles from the 17th finally saved. This is ridiculous.

I have had similar issues once I was able to get it to sign me again. I left the game up for a few days and didn't lose progress, but it shut down overnight and I woke up today to the board being clear from April 10-April 19. The Microsoft team is too smart to not being able to clear the bug. Anyone have Bill Gates's phone number?

I strongly agree with Neil here, MS recognizes my account, I am not signing in as guest.

Whenever MS has trouble delivering their ads, the results are not saved, the challenges not completed.

Dear Microsoft, please be so kind as not to take it out on the players who want to complete their daily (and monthly) challenges, just because you are not able to deliver ads on MS Windows machines.

You do seem to be able to deliver your ads on Android devices well enough, you should be able to the same on windows 10 and 11.

And if you don't manage that on Windows machines, just count the challenges anyways, this is to a certain point embarrassing.

I have now not lost any progress for a while. I have a workaround and it is pathetic that I need to do this.

I open the app and select a game I want to play. If it does not play a ten second ad, as in it either goes straight to the game or plays a 15 second or 30 second ad, I close the app completely and then re-open. I do this until a ten second ad plays and then I complete the game.

Once the game is completed, I close the app completely and then come back in again and do the same thing. What a pain. I sometimes have to wait ages for a ten second ad to play. After numerous attempts, either giving up and coming back later, or seeing a ten second ad, and closing the whole app once that level is completed, it always saves.

It is such a pain and Microsoft should be ashamed of itself for not fixing this bug a long time ago.

At least my progress saves now every time, but why hasn't this been fixed yet????

This is posted on a Microsoft page. Does anyone from Microsoft even look at these posts? Or care?
