After sign in issue resolved, Microsoft Sudoku not saving my daily challenge results.

It turns out there is a workaround. Restart the computer and immediately open Sudoku and play unfinished days... Once you close the app it will have saved your status, however if you play any additional Sudoku games afterward those will not be saved until you restart the computer again and then play. I have managed to get all caught up doing this but it is a terrible solution and speaks clearly that there is a bug in the game.
As of today, March 23, this work around no longer seems to work. What changed I cannot say but I tried multiple times to solve today's puzzles with them being cleared after closing and re-opening the Sudoku app.
Super weird. While I jumped the gun the other day saying it was all working again, today I did get all challenges to save. Hopefully this is a sign that they are getting this resolved.
I have tried all the suggestions, and sadly, nothing worked. It appeared to start working at the beginning of the month (March) and was fine until the 13th, then the wheels fell off again. It saved again on the 21, but after that nothing. Microsoft should really do something about this, it has now been ongoing for more than two months (I have fired people for less!)
I'm not even trying anymore. I gave up.
