Microsoft Sudoku not saving my daily challenge results

Please don't give up. I was finally able to go back and play the unsaved games again and the results saved. Just sorry it took Microsoft programmers until now to fix whatever glitch was caused by the last update.

I deleted the game and reinstalled it.

Tride the first puzzle of the month but it still won't save my games.

There was no advertizing

Today, I played the first puzzle after getting a 30 second ad. After finishing, the calendar showed it was saved & I exited the game & reopened it. Now the calendar said I had no games completed today.

I then completed the same game after receiving a 30 second ad, but this time there was a Skip AD button which I clicked after 5 seconds. I completed the game, exited & reopened the game. The calendar now shows the game is completed successfully.

The people who say this is related to 30 second advertisements seem to be correct.

I'm still getting 30 second ads and neither a skip ad button nor a saved game. The only new thing is that the game insists that I have no network connection on this PC. Since I am replying here the error in the game seems to be modified but still there.

I also received many "network error" messages but kept clicking RETRY until the game finally recognized my Internet connection.
