Hello,

The 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) will not install on my Windows 10 laptop computer.

I get the following message There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643) Retry

When I click on Retry it says its Installing-0% for a few minutes then Installed-100% and then I get Download Error (0x80070643) There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. Windows Update Troubleshooter could not fix this problem.

I'm not sure what to do, please help.

    All I can do is reiterate my previous comment, tell MICROSOFT, not me... Bombard them with your complaints, it does no good here...

    Edit: Early this morning I received a reply to my last post, which I have copied below (name of sender withheld by me) ... A reply by me was blocked???

    All I can say in this EDIT, by reply is, The BIGGEST, RICHEST, IT CONGLOMERATE on the planet has so far taken 12+ weeks, that's 86 days, or 2064 Hours & counting to come up with a solution to KB3054441, and all the correspondent had to say is;

    "Microsoft is aware of the problem and is actively working on fixing it."

    Doesn't sound very "expert" to me, seeing as how they built the problem in the first place, but can't undo it??? But, what do I know, I'm only a consumer...

    COPY OF THE REPLY: Many users have reported experiencing the same issue with KB5034441 security update. "Microsoft is aware of the problem and is actively working on fixing it."
