Hello,

The 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) will not install on my Windows 10 laptop computer.

I get the following message There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643) Retry

When I click on Retry it says its Installing-0% for a few minutes then Installed-100% and then I get Download Error (0x80070643) There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. Windows Update Troubleshooter could not fix this problem.

I'm not sure what to do, please help.

    Lester, you appear to be someone in the know about the community support system, but you have not answered one reply since ShaHin Sha ShajaHan1 , meanwhile a multitude of punters have lodged a complaint of some sort about the subject matter on this log...

    You were the one who told us to wait 7 days for MS to sort out the problem, so far NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE...

    Lester it is up to you to get more experienced help with this now, as you have, apparently, washed your hands of any further assistance... If it is beyond your support, then please pass it on to someone that CAN help or contact MS to get some action... Don't leave us floating in the ether with NO ACTION at all... Read all the latest emails & you will see the anger with no action...

    The people are getting angry, do something...

    Ok, so I went to check if the Jan 2024 Security Update was fixed. And now not only isn't that installing yet? It now appears to be stopping this newest one from installing as well. Why an update from 10/2023 is only trying to install now? I don't know. But it's first trying to install the Jan 2024 Security Update and shows the above one as pending. Then neither installs. **** Microsoft? Who is running the updates part of the company?

    You should still be able to download & install any other updates, just not KB5034441 that's the one that has a problem...

    I have the same issue and now the update for windows 10 will not start the install after it is downloaded.
